Mr.Acharya popularly known as Dipu Da is respected by Artists at kolkata, Mumbai, Bangla Desh and other places. He was a Tabla artist of All India Radio since 1977 and Music Director of several TV Media,short film and also music Director of Several Stages, Short Films His recent works include as Music director of “Anonder Dhak Dhol” released from Times Music in addition he is presently working President of Cine Musicians Association.

Hail from a Musician family he started playing Tabla at the age of Seven and since then he came in glorious association with almost all eminent artists of Musical world. He runs a Group of Rhythim team “Tal Badya”, “Srijon Chandya”.

He was awarded “Sangeet Sanman” by Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
